The main tasks of the employee are:
- monitoring the availability of software systems and services provided by them
- providing support in case of failure of these systems / services
- analysing and solving problems related to middleware systems
- viewing logs and solving problems
- product plan management:
- planning and carrying out cycle updates (in coordination with other teams)
- planowanie i zarządzanie przepustowością tych usług w celu zapewnienia wystarczającej przepustowości
- provision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation
- wspieranie innych zespołów w korzystaniu z tych usług
- synchronise, harmonise and maintain compliance with ICT standards and the customer’s basic ICT standards
- cooperation with team members
Requirements:
- 9 years of combined post-secondary education and professional experience of at least 4 years in the fields described below
- practical experience in administering Linux systems (Ubuntu and/or RedHat systems)
- experience in working with complex, distributed systems
- analysis, monitoring, maintenance, installation and updating of various software products
- designing, testing and documenting architectural changes
- knowledge of Linux scripting layers
- experience in system integration
- installation of new tools in accordance with the requirements and their integration into the existing ecosystem
- a first degree education in computer science or related field (second degree studies are welcome)
- English at B2 level or above
- Linux administration certificate (LPIC-1 or RHCSA)
Special tools / intermediate software systems in which knowledge is mandatory:
- RedHat JBoss (very important)
- PostgreSQL
- Apache (including mod_cluster, mod_security and other security modules)
- Drupal
- ElasticSearch
- ArcGIS ESRI server and portal
- Solita + ClamAV
Other tools that integrate the ecosystem and must be supported:
- Maven
- Git
- Jenkins
- Redmine
- SonarQube
